Sufra Stories exists to preserve the parts of a family recipe that disappear when we record only ingredients and instructions.
WHY “SUFRA”
A table, a spread, a place people gather.
Across Arabic-speaking homes, a sufra is more than the food placed out. It is the shared space around it: the passing, serving, insisting, teaching, and remembering.
The name keeps that spirit without pretending every family table looks or sounds the same.

Preservation should be useful, respectful, and portable.

Use files families can take with them.
PDFs, documents, photographs, audio, and clear folders are easier to back up and move than a closed platform that may not exist forever.

Do not manufacture sentiment.
The stained card, ordinary phrase, wrong spelling, and cooking shortcut are already meaningful. Good design gives them room without making them theatrical.
