By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into this agreement. If you buy for someone else, you are responsible for making sure they understand the license that applies.
Digital products
Sufra Stories products are downloadable files and digital guidance. Nothing is shipped. Product pages describe the included formats, license, software requirements, and any update entitlement. Payhip normally provides access on its download page and by receipt email as soon as PayPal confirms payment, subject to fraud and security checks.
Products may include PDF, DOCX, and XLSX files. A current PDF reader is needed for PDF files. DOCX and XLSX files are designed for current versions of Microsoft Word and Excel and may also be imported into Google Docs or Google Sheets; small formatting differences can occur in third-party software.
License
A purchase grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the files for the scope shown on the product page and in the license included with the download. Unless an edition expressly permits family collaboration, the license is for the purchaser’s personal family archive. You may not resell, sublicense, publicly upload, share as a template library, remove ownership notices, or use the files to produce client work.
Your family material
You remain responsible for the recipes, recordings, photographs, names, translations, and stories you place in your archive. You must have the permission needed to record people and to share or publish their material. The files provide an organization method, not legal clearance or professional preservation advice.
Prices, taxes, and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Checkout is provided by Payhip and payment is processed by PayPal. Your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion or other charges. Applicable sales tax or VAT may be calculated and collected at checkout based on your location. The merchant is not currently registered for Bahrain VAT and does not separately charge Bahrain VAT. You agree to provide accurate billing and contact information.
Orders, delivery, and support
An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and access is issued. If an obvious pricing or description error affects your order, we may cancel it and refund the amount paid. Keep your receipt and download a secure backup promptly. If a download link fails or you reach the download limit, email us with the purchase email and order reference so we can verify the order and restore reasonable access.
Refunds and cancellation requests are handled under our Digital product refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
Availability and changes
We may correct errors, improve files, or discontinue an offer. If an update is included with your edition, that entitlement will be stated on the product page. We do not promise that optional third-party software will remain available or unchanged.
Intellectual property
Sufra Stories owns or licenses the store design, text, illustrations, templates, and other product material, excluding the family material you add. Purchasing a product transfers a license to use it, not ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
Liability and mandatory rights
We aim to deliver the files and features described on the product page. The system is an organizational and educational resource, not legal, genealogical, nutritional, or professional preservation advice. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, loss caused by incompatible third-party software, or loss of family material that was not backed up.
Nothing in these terms excludes consumer guarantees, withdrawal rights, liability for fraud, or any other right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded. Where liability can lawfully be limited, our total liability arising from a product will not exceed the amount paid for that product.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and disputes may be brought before its competent courts. If you are a consumer, this choice does not remove any mandatory protections or right to bring a claim that the law of your country gives you.
